The town of Kasane is situated on the banks of the Chobe river in
the far north east of Botswana. It is the gateway to the Chobe
National Park and also to 3 other countries, being located right at
the "Four Corners" junction - Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe
all meet up right here.
Kasane is the administrative centre of
Chobe District, our closest neighbours being the villages of
Kazungula and Lesoma. More distant members of our district are the
Chobe Enclave villages and Pandamatenga.
We hope this informational site will be of use to tourists,
visitors, business people and Chobe District residents. It's new and
growing, so we will be adding to it on a regular basis.
Links will become active soon. In the meantime, thanks for your patience and please
keep on checking the updated site!
